Public Notice – Presentation of Financial Statements as per Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act.

In accordance with Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act, 1993, Upper Macquarie County Council advises that the extraordinary Council meeting to be held 9 September 2022 will include the presentation of the Audited Financial Statements and the Auditor’s Reports for the year ending 30 June 2022. The public is welcome to attend however, must first make contact with Lisa Monardo to make suitable access arrangements to the meeting are available.

In accordance with Section 420 of the Local Government Act, 1993, any person may make a submission in writing to Council with respect to the Council’s Audited Financial Statements or the Auditor’s Reports. Submission should be addressed to the General Manager and can either be posted to Upper Macquarie County Council, PO Box 703, Bathurst 2795 or emailed. Submissions close one week after the above public meeting has been held.
